"But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
Joshua 24:15b, NIV

Wrightsboro Baptist Church
invites you to
Be Our Guest!

There are 40+ Baptist churches in the Wilmington area. Look for ours the next time you're on Castle Hayne Road in the Wrightsboro community. We're next door to Wrightsboro Elementary School, with Wrightsboro Tire and Auto across the street, about a half mile north of the Castle Hayne Road / North Kerr Avenue intersection. Plenty of parking to the left of, and behind, the sanctuary; we would love to have you as our special guest!

You can't help but feel the warmth and friendliness of our congregation even before you step into the sanctuary. Don't be shy -- if you need directions to a particular area of the church, or are looking for an individual, just ask anyone you see. We're all family.

If you're new to a Baptist service, you'll first notice that the pastor dresses in a suit and tie, just like the congregation. Most men are in suits for the Sunday morning worship, and most women wear dresses. But this is not a strict rule. Be comfortable! It is perfectly acceptable for women to wear pants, and for men to wear sports shirts. We've seen jeans, T-shirts, and shorts as well. God is not scrutinizing our wardrobes -- He's listening to our hearts.

Wrightsboro Baptist Church preaches from the Bible. You will find no teaching without a scriptural basis. If you don't have your Bible with you, you'll find copies of the New International Version in every pew. Pastor Keith (yes, you may simply call him "Keith") is a preacher with passion and enthusiasm. He moves about the front of the church using gestures to illustrate his sermon, and you're certain to find him a captivating speaker. You can see right away in his face that he has peace in his soul!

We have marked parking spaces for those with physical handicaps, both in front and back of the church, with smooth pavement for wheelchairs leading right into the sanctuary. This same path can access the chapel and church office, as well as the fellowship hall. We also have wheelchairs and walkers on site that you may borrow during your visit. If you require assistance, just let us know!

We're delighted to now offer a covered drop-off point at the left entry to the sanctuary. With this "arrival hood," members and guests with limited mobility can be driven right to the door, and families can be spared from rain and the occasional snowfall. It's wheechair-friendly and a most welcome addition to our church facilities.

You'll find a tear-off guest card on the bulletin. If you'd like more information about the church or its ministries, or wish to speak with a minister, or have a prayer request, etc., just fill out the card and and drop it into the offering plate, and you will be contacted.

If you're not familiar with Wilmington, the map below should help.
